Chicago, Illinois -- On October 1, 2025 Chicago-area alderwoman Jessie Fuentes received a call regarding a detained individual who had been brought to a hospital for an injury to his leg. Upon arriving at the hospital, Fuentes asked to speak to the detained man while informing the agents that the man has constutional rights, to which an agent repeatedly replied "no" then demanding that Fuentes leave the hospital. When Fuentes started to ask for paperwork regarding the individual's detention, the agent grabbed Fuentes by the arm, forcibly turned her around, and placed her in handcuffs.
